The Scotdec is the leading Development Education Centre in Scotland and plays a leading role in initial teacher training and in-service teacher training about Global Education in Scotland. Scotdec (Scottish Development Education Centre) has been in existence since 1984. Originally known as the Multi-Agency Centre (MAC), it was registered as a charity in 1990 and incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee in 1999. As well as building a reputation for promoting and distributing development education materials, over the past years we have also produced and published a number of popular resources.
