Demetris is a legal advisor of RIKKOS MAPPOURIDES & ASSOCIATES LLC law firm currently subcontracted to FWC to works primarily on a UNHCR funded project entitled Strengthening Asylum. The project offers legal and social support, free of charge, to asylum seekers and recognized refugees in Cyprus.

Demetris holds a degree in law from the University Of Sheffield (LLB) and a Masters Degree in Criminal Law and Procedure from the University of Sunderland (LLM). He has also qualified for the Cyprus Legal Council Exams for Trainee Advocate.
