The National Institute for the Protection of Human Rights (Cyprus) was partner of the Extending EU Citizenship project when its Chair Mrs. Leda Koursoumba, also Law Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus (appointed for 8 years from 2007 until 2014 by the Council of Ministers), was also appointed by the President as Commissioner for Human Rights.
