Irini received a Bachelor Degree on International and European Studies, with specialization on Political Science and Diplomacy, from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece and a Master in Law in Public International Law, where she focused on migration and human rights. She has worked with UNHCR and various NGOs in Cyprus and East Africa on issues of forced migration and the Millennium Development Goals.
